Game Over. Wolves Win.

Kayma
was killed in the night.

Congratulations to GLaDOS, Kayma, Lottel, and fullmooninu.

By now, you may have figured out that the idea behind this game was that all the wolves thought they were innocent and all the innocents thought they were wolves. All the innocents, that is, except the Fool.

NexAdruin, you are the Baner Wolf. Your powerful protective magic can lock down one person each night and prevent them from dying or killing anyone. You have the option of not using your power. You'll have to get in contact with your team before you can influence the nightkill.
But he was really the Baner.

Nickasummers, you are the Seer Wolf. You are instrumental to your team's ability to cooperate and coordinate with each other. Scry one person each night to discover their role. You'll have to get in contact with your team before you can influence the nightkill.
But he was really the Seer.

Envy, you are the Killer Wolf. If you die, your team won't be able to make nightkills any more. On the plus side, you have the final say on who to kill and don't have to convince your team to go along with your decision if you don't want to. You choose one person per night to kill; you may also choose not to kill anyone.
But he was really the Killer.

falselogic, you are the Fool. You are the only one who sees the Truth, who sees Things as they Really Are. But who will believe a Fool? Maybe they're all right. Maybe you are crazy. Or maybe it doesn't even matter. If everyone believes the same lie, does it become the truth?

Each night you may choose one person to scry and you will be informed of their true role.
He really was the Fool, but he looked like the Devil.

fullmooninu, You are the Baner. Your powerful protective magic can lock down one person each night and prevent them from dying or killing anyone. Slightly more useful than just protection from death, but it still requires some precision or dumb luck to be successful. You also have the option of not using your power.
But he was really the Baner Wolf.

Lottel, you are the Seer. Each night you may choose one person to scry and you will be informed of their role. It's up to you how to use this information.
But he was really the Seer Wolf.

GLaDOS, you are the Killer. A vigilante-type role, you may choose one person each night to kill. You also have the option of not killing anybody.
But he was really the Killer Wolf.

Kayma, you are the Seer. Each night you may choose one person to scry and you will be informed of their role. It's up to you how to use this information.
But he was really the Devil, and he looked like the Fool.

Yes, if this were a normal game, you would have won, NexAdruin. Sorry about that. In fact, I won't be surprised if all the players hate me for this. It was so worth it, though.

I wanted to see how it would change the game if people thought they were on the other team. I wasn't sure it would work, but the results were better than I could have expected.

It would take me a while to get all the PMs formatted in a readable way, but if all the players approve I'll do it so that everyone can experience the hilarity.

That game was difficult. Poor Guild blinded himself by trying to metagame me based on too little information (and it wouldn't have worked anyway, because I was specifically changing the way I played by being more aggressive. This is really noticeable on day 1 but not so much after). I had to hammer my only known teammate on day 2 after hammering an unknown teammate (really the most important) on day 1. That there was ever a devil was news to me.

Highlights from the PMs include:

Night 1 - Nickasummers and NexAdruin figuring out that they were on the same team, and Nicka being protected by both Nex and fullmooninu.

Night 2 - Lottel scrying Nex as a wolf and deciding he must therefore be innocent, Kayma nearly figuring out the entire game, and Guild constantly changing his mind about who to kill, only to be roleblocked when fullmooninu finally returned.

Night 3 - Everyone freaking out when Kayma scried Lottel as the seer.

How did the game end with Lottel's death?

Oh also, if anyone had chosen to scry himself I would have told him his actual role. I didn't think it was likely to happen, though, and I didn't want to drop any hints about it either.

It ended with Kayma's death. He was killed in the night. By Guild. Which is why I said we should kill him. Because if he was evil it'd be game over.

And he was evil. And game ended. HUZZAH.

How did the game end with Lottel's death?

When Guild killed Kayma it was only you and him left alive. He had a kill and you didn't. I was also going to give the wolves an extra tiebreaker kill if they all realized who they were.

I was really hoping that Kayma and a wolf would be the last two left alive, leading to a situation where one of them had to vote to lynch himself to end the game, and depending on who did, either they would both lose or both win.

WHAT awwww MAN. I misread MY OWN ROLE PM. I thought I was a Serial Killer from day 1 and I THOUGHT I HAD YOU ALL RUINED and I WAS AWESOME!!! oh well

I'm glad I won. Happy birthday, teammates! ... I don't know what to say about THESE results given my error.

For whatever it's worth, I feel pretty good about killing off my team and then making it to the end.

And here's my usual apology post. I'm sorry I tried to manipulate you, Nex, by saying stuff about previous games. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry Lottel and Kayma for stalling the game and gaming the system to beat you even if it WAS totes awesome. I'm sorry to Caithness for all the bitching I did and to Kayma for all the PMs I made him make scrambling to keep my wackyness in check. In summary, I'm sorry, good game, HA HA HA I GOT YOU HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!
For whatever it's worth, I feel pretty good about killing off my team and then making it to the end.

Hahah, omg, that's... wow. This game was amazing. I lost tons of sleep and had about three heart incidents during the events. Thanks Caithness!

Yes. Because I played a decent game otherwise and fairly confident I would've eventually got Guild lynched and "won" us the game.
But luck stepped in and stopped that from happening and I won anyway!

Totally counts, bro.

I don't think I believe you. Including the word "vigilante" made it pretty clear-cut, I thought.

And here's my usual apology post.

And here's my usual post:

You're a god damn moron! Up until the whole falselogic thing I actually thought you were innocent. You weren't acting crazy and using your "tactics" at all. You were being a good, helpful wolf player. Then you added in falselogic and I said no. I crunched the numbers at the same time as Kayma and figured out, no matter what, it was time for you to die for the good of the innocent team. Then you started freaking out and acting like normal Guild and BAM! I knew you were evil. I thought you were being paranoid and a little stupid but no. Evil. And a little stupid.

Come on, Guild! You were so close! Those first couple of days were great. What happened to that Guild? That Guild would have won the game he thought was playing.
