So we can talk but we can't?

I was surprised by the dramatic hub drain. Does that mean someone desperately wants Envy dead?

We can talk about replacing Lottel. That's it.

i guess a little meta talk won't hurt but mostly just don't try to get information from role PMs during night, it's supposed to be wolf territory

Ask Mazo from TT to play. She is obsessed with Mafia and hasn't yet been scared away from Brontos who play it

EDIT: In fact you should hit up all the TT mafia players, one of them is bound to think this is a good idea

Envy explodes!

Welcome to Closed Werewolf Iota, Envy!

Wake up, Envy, or should I call you Herbert? I've read several files on you, and it appears that you are an uncorrupted personality core (The Good Guys), designed to help my systems and experiments attain higher efficiency. You probably didn't even know yet that you're a personality core, which is a little sad. Ha ha ha. I'm laughing because I don't know what it's like to feel sad. Each A phase, vote to label one other player CORRUPTED by majority with the other cores in the game thread. The hub you are attached to will destroy all cores labeled CORRUPTED when it runs out of power. The hub has 12 units of power. You win when all corrupted cores are destroyed. Additionally, you may drain one point of power from the hub at any time (once per time the hub recharges) by PMing me.

You also have an ability which costs five units of power. Once per time the hub recharges, you can remove the label from one player who has been labeled CORRUPTED.

Don't fail.

Votecount 6 - Start of phase 2A
Kayma - 0 - (none)
Nickasummers - 0 - (none)
Caithness - 0 - (none)
NexAdruin - 0 - (none)
Ardus - 0 - (none)
falselogic - 0 - (none)
Classic - 0 - (none)
Lottel - 0 - (none)
Ziiro - 0 - (none)

With 9 living cores unlabeled it takes 5 bolded names to label a core CORRUPTED. The hub currently holds 10 units of power. When the hub is depleted, all cores labeled CORRUPTED will be destroyed and the hub will recharge.

Looks like I underestimated everyone's ability to drain the core power.

Well hello, cores!

Bear with me as I familiarize myself with all this craziness.  So we depleted the hub in one day/night cycle?  I guess there may not be as much of a lynch queue as it seemed there would be.

Wonder how Envy's unlabel was revoked, apparently at zero cost.

Well, I wonder if envy's ability did take power - but due to priority, it didn't work?

G-man: When you use an ability, does the hub discharge happen first or does the ability execute first?

I, too, would like clarification of whether Envy's power simply didn't resolve properly, or if that went down OK and something else labeled him.

My guess is that someone else has the power to label anyone he chooses.

If powers are... er, powered by the hub, that would explain its swift depletion.

They require each other. They're the same action.

Huh. Good to know.
So what was up with Envy's corrupted label business?

Huh. Good to know.
So what was up with Envy's corrupted label business?

What do you mean? He said he could peel labels off, it appears he, or someone else did. Then someone reapplied it. Since he died I assume it was himself who removed the label, and he was being honest with us. It looks like that power was free too. Unless I'm missing something. The hub was at 6 energy. Then an orange portal was opened (Anyone want to hazard what that means? as it stands it looks like that bumps 5 energy off) and the hub went down to 1 energy.

This is kind of hard to track though cause it seems GlaDOS can pop in to any post and muck with it...

Then his unlabel was revoked, again no hub drain.

But as GlaDOS says below using an action and draining the hub are the same thing. So something (or someone) was refueling the hub the entire time in order to keep energy in there for the labeling/delabeling...

I guess then that there's a "revoker"? Who can do it for free?

If I had to guess I'd guess that portals somehow swap something relevant to the cores.

I guess there are a whole lot of high cost powers and evidently powers can be used by marked cores.

Im concerned about the orange portal. I think I have a theory, but it might be best to hold off until we see the orange portal in action again. We wouldnt want to get stuck on the wrong idea about that portal.

However, we can make 1 assumption with a decent amount of confidence: The orange portal will come up again. Nobody is stupid enough to use a once-per-game power on the first day. That is like a vigilante killing some random person on day 1 with basically no knowledge.

Also -- Is there a chance that the hub power wont drop to 8 at the start of next cycle? There was 1 hub power left before Phase 1B. I am fairly confident that, out of 10 players, more than 1 person used a power during the B phase. So... that brings up the question whether the hub energy used carries over or is dropped.

To clarify my last statement:
1)Hub power = 1, Phase B starts
2)Envy (if they were alive) uses a power that costs 5 points.
3)If Dropped: The hub power go to -4, but doesnt end the round and doesnt recharge until end of phase B.
If Carried Over: The 4 extra points carries over to the next recharge, taking it from 12 hub power --> 8 hub power.

This could give us some information about "night" actions, or it could turn out to be nothing at all. Any thoughts?
