Just saw Flashpoint: Paradox and it definitely risks displacing everything else for best DC movie. The rest of this post will be all spoiler reactions.

As totally and utterly fucked as everyone (except Aquaman, who had his finest moments) gets, Hal seemed to get the absolute rawest deal. Literally steps away from the destiny he's been waiting for and he's convinced to kill himself instead.

I also seriously want a follow-up story about Darkseid finding Super(Iron Giant)Man curled up in a ball where Earth used to be, and his time being 'taught' by Granny Goodness.

Andy Khouri interviews Dana Delaney.

There's a lot of talk about Lois enduring status as a role model, and how for many people she's the definitive version (though there have been some great ones -- the article mentions Noel Neill and Teri Hatcher but doesn't mention Erica Durance who, despite everything that was wrong with Smallville, was fucking wonderful in the role).

The idea that if a writer includes Lois dialogue that you just can't hear Delaney saying in your head, then it's wrong, is an interesting and compelling one.  I feel much the same about Hamill as Joker -- there are plenty of other great Jokers, but Hamill brought such range to the role that I think it fits any version of the character.

(And while I usually hear Conroy in my head as Batman, sometimes it's Bader or West, if it's a lighter, funnier Batman story.)

Yeah, holy shit, Flashpoint is crazy. Had not read the comics, was not expecting a Flash story to get that fucked up. The Joker reveal especially was heartbreaking nightmare fuel.
