Disagree with the review for the most part, but there is the diffculty isue that will no doubt brick-wall many people. While 'casual' is probably too cliche, not everyone wants to engage in the 'move one inch left when this happens or you will die' style of play that Dark Souls has been hyped for. Being able to mow down enemies Serious Sam style is great stress relief and Dark Souls doesn't seem to be the game where you can crush a giant wolf's head under your metal boot with a loud 'Fuck ya!' more like 'Fuck, this took long enough.'

Serious Sam is actually very hard compared to most modern shooters. Additionally, the fuck yeah I get from clearing difficult portion of Dark Souls is orgasmic compared the the pale fuck yeah of completing some scripted or otherwise less challenging nonsense.

Reading some of their other reviews basically makes it clear that they're a pack of hacks.

Got a level 50 Darkwraith that I've been using on Sen's Fortress with a +15 Iaito and pyromancy. having a good time. Invading is.... a different experience.

Stab them in the back. They have very slow recovery times and you can get back stabs off quite easily.

if you have a pyromancer's flame consider getting combustion if you're not confident enough to backstab -- you'll need to head into The Depths to find a trainer though

sorcery got a buff in the balance patch so that now i kinda feel like a dick carrying all these soul arrows. when i went up against the first black knight (below the tower with the crossbowman, right?), it was not especially effective -- i ended up killing him with, uh, what's it called? the spiked club from the merchant in undead burg. took a lot of hits!

it's worth noting that spending souls on new/better items or upgrades to your existing ones is a VERY GOOD STRATEGY in Dark Souls, in comparison to Demon's Souls.

Possible DLC for Dark Souls

Hmm.. Kinda blank on this. I would like some more info on the world and a better face-maker(Even though I am under a helmet most of the time.) But things are pretty much complete.

Rather they fix the Bottomless Box glitch first.
It is RUINING PvP.

I'm sorry that I think it isn't fun to be invaded at SL 10 by a SL 1 with +15 EVERYTHING.

Especially when Mr.Twinky clearly doesn't have the skill required to get that shit legitimately.

If he's actually good enough to get it fine.

But if he plays like he had to be SL 100 just to beat the gargoyles  he can go eat a oil drum full of horse anus

Needs to have a scene with him getting pendulumed into the pit in Sen's and getting impale-stomped by the Titanite Demons.

And getting shot off the ledges by arrows the size of tree trunks by the Anor Londo snipers.
