Finally getting into the new content, since it is now available for PS3, and I must say I thought there would be a bit more preamble before you encounter [spoiler]Artorias the Rapemachine. Good to see he's so clearly not fallen head first into the abyss.[/spoiler] Maybe it was a bad idea to do this on a NG+ character.

EDIT: [spoiler]Took down Artorias after a few tries. I noticed it on the first attempt, but Sif mimics his fighting style, right down to the leaps and spins. Nice detail there.[/spoiler]

I'm curious if there would be any interest in doing some kind of  bronto fight club or tournament. I don't know if there's a vastly larger number of people that have it on the PC over any one console, but there's enough bleed-over there that it's the plan.

Of course this would be so people that don't often get a chance to can enjoy PVP so we can set ground rules (no resins, chainstabbing, intentional cross-ups, etc.) and find good hosts for as low-lag fights as you can hope for, given the medium.

I'm probably gonna pass for a heretic for this, but I'm not particularly enamored of intentional pvp in this game.

I should precise that thought. The online interactions are pretty rad and I'm always thrilled to see what's going to pop up when they do happen as a natural consequence of progressing through the game, so it's not a flaw in the design and I sure as hell ain't looking forward to servers eventually shutting down; those will be the darkest of the dark days. But to seek pvp combat for its own sake? I can see why people dig it but on my end I kinda don't hook into it for whatever reason.

More like just become rare to see summon signs and invasions taking longer to find.

When Demon's does go down, it would be a nice gesture if there was a mini-patch that gave you the Monk's Headwrapping as a gift. I don't remember if it was said here, but having random ghosts still appear as well as messages would make SP feel less barren.
