Francisca's words strike with supernatural effect against the mindless dwarf skeleton and it blows a chunk out of his ribcage.

The skeletons hurl rocks. They head for Briar, Dog and Francisca. The boulders all miss clumsily.

The suits of bloody armour march toward you with swords drawn. The spirits seem only ephemerally connected to the armour and will drop in one solid hit, but their swords are still sharp and their armour is still strong - what looked like rust from a distance is actually dried blood.

1, 2 and 3 strike Briar, 4 and 5 Dog, 6 Ampersand. 1 and 3 stab Briar with short swords, while the sixth hits Ampersand.

Briar takes 10 damage, Ampersand takes 5 damage.

Next is the party's turn, in any order, including Francisca.

(Don't forget the [ pre ] tags on the map.)

As Pitamaha drew his sword, he seemed to blur somewhat at the edges. "Mind over matter," he said. "So this is what they meant!" [Speed of Thought encounter power triggered by rolling initiative; he moves up to 3 spaces as a free action before battle starts, to the space indicated below, adjacent to Francisca and Suit of Armor #2]

Additionally, I provoke no attacks of opportunity from it until the end of the encounter, and my speed increases from 6 to 8.]

He then raised his left hand in a gesture of concentration, his eyes darting rapidly between two of the other foes. [As a minor action, I use Battlemind's Demand augmented once against suits of armor #2 and #3, spending one of my two power points and marking both of them until I use this power again.] Leaving them for now, he ran around behind the eastern pits [to the point indicated below].

Vivi plucks some mint out of her pocket and holds an open palm up to her mouth. She puckers her lips and blows across the palm, sending the leaves to spatter harmlessly across #6 Armor's Face. Now that he is hopelessly and forever cursed, she shifts the open palm to a Bang-Bang Finger Gun gesture and fires an Eldritch Blast at the suit of armor.

[30] 11-10-16 23:42:14 CEST - Vivi (doomykins@gmail.com)

Vivi's Eldritch Blast, +3 vs Reflex, against #6 Armor.

1d20 +3
11 + 3 = 14

The discharge of violently blue and fresh energy barely misses it's target and impacts the stone floor immediately before it, briefly producing vivid but crude sparks like one chewing pop rocks in the dark. Vivi steps four squares away after this unsatisfying opening, adopting immediate concealing shadows for a pout further away from the group and the approaching Armors.

Dog stares at the skeletons with a fire burning in his eyes, all but ignoring the suits of armor until they closed in on him.
He glanced around quickly at the suits and noticed on approaching from in front of a pit.
"Fine. You're first," he says as slowly drawing his shovel.
He drops his shoulder as shifts into the space between him and the suit and then rams into the suit.

Dog: Bull rush vs Suit: Strength (5) vs Fort (13)
1d20 + 5 = 10

Dog looks at the suit in shock as it refused to move.
(What the hell is with all my terrible rolls? Alright. Bongo used a daily, I'll use an AP)

"I. SAID. FALL!"

Dog kicks the suit in the chest.

Dog: Bull rush vs Suit: Strength (5) vs Fort (13) AGAIN 1d20 +5 = 24

The suit falls backwards into the pit as Dog moves to where it was.

Enraged at failing to knock it down with his first hit, he takes a deep breath and lets the anger flow over him as he turns to face the nearest skeleton (c).
(Assuming the Battle Wrath stance.  Until the stance ends, I get +2 to damage when attacking with a weapon.

Ampersand lowers his arm as the sword presses against his flesh, dropping his hand crossbow. Watching as Dog then knocks the possessed armor into the pit, Ampersand begins to draw his sword and step forward, speaking to dog, but you wouldn't be able to tell from outside his own head, "there are certainly ways to do that with more finesse, you know."

Lifting his sword and pressing it down and forward at the horned abomination, he catches his blade in the helmet and quickly twists his arm around, snaking it back and forth as the armor follows the dancing appendage's lead, side stepping towards the slayer to Ampersand's right, "I certainly understand your reasoning though," he picks up again mostly to himself "opponents can be hard to keep down..."

&: positioning strike vs suit: dex (4) vs will (14)
d20 + 4 + 3 = 19

"...when they're already dead." giving a final flick with the sword the sound of splattering blood echos from inside the suit and the armor begins to fall apart, red sword sliding back out from the helm as the metal clangs down into the pit next to Dog.

Two questions:

Can I mark a creature and attack it in the same turn?
Is there a way to shove skeleton 2 into the pit behind it?

1. It depends if marking a creature is a standard action or a minor action. You can always do one standard, one move, and one minor a turn or you can trade move or standard down to minor. Attacks are almost always standard actions.

2. If you can slide or push it two spaces, yes. Bull rush is a basic thing anyone can do, but it can only move one space. Only way you can push it two spaces is if you have an attack that can move it two spaces. There are a few for fighter, so I guess it depends if you took them.

I think the fighter's mark is a free action, which you can use against anyone you attack. You can only have one mark active at a time, though: if you mark a second, the first mark expires.

For reference, the pit is not quite ten feet deep; falling in knocks you prone and deals 1d6 damage, which is always enough to kill a 1HP minion like the six suits of animated armour. If pushed in, you get a saving throw to avoid it and merely fall prone instead (10+ on a d20); I'm ignoring the saving throws for the minions because they're minions. While someone is in the pit, adjacent enemies at the pit's edge get +1 to attack, although they have cover (-2 to hit) from ranged attacks from further away.

Francisca puts a hand on briar's shoulder, "Come on, let's show these suits who's really in charge!" She turns to the nearest suit, lifts her arm, clenches her fist, and lets out a loud shout. "YOU'RE GOIN' DOWN!", She seems a bit less refined than usual. Her monocle has fallen out and is hanging from its chain.

[Shout of Triumph, centered on suit 2, missed suits 1 and 3, hits suits 2 and 4]

The suits beside and in front of Briar go tumbling and clattering across the room, blasted across by Francisca's shout, and briar feels herself being pushed on by the shout. [You get to slide two spaces for free, I'd move you, but I figure you have a better idea of where you want to go.]

Büge left to take Briar's turn. Briar, you have a free two-space slide from Francisca's power at the start of your turn.

Skipping Briar's turn for inactivity. Briar freezes to the spot in fear.

Enemies' turn.

The third suit of armour feints another attack on Briar to withdraw carefully. It shifts (move action), then charges toward Pitamaha (standard action). The headless armour leaps into the air, lunges with its short sword and hits.

Pitamaha takes 5 damage.

The other two armour suits attack Briar and Ampersand with their swords. The blood on the blade seems to trickle down their arm and into the suit of armour.

Briar and Ampersand each take 5 damage.

Two of the skeletons shuffle toward the north exit and throw pieces of smashed engraved sarcophagus covers into the melee. The third skeleton, still staggered by Francisca's rebuke that shattered its ribcage, picks up a broken bone like a knife, turns around and leaps at Pitamaha with it.

The rubble misses completely, but the skeleton gets a lucky hit on Pitamaha.

Pitamaha takes 3 damage.

PC's turn now, any order.

Francisca puts a hand on briar's shoulder, trying to reassure her a little, then she points out towards the skeleton that she attacked in the first round, who is now attacking pitamaha, "Hey you, boney, I'm not done with you yet!

[Cutting words, rolled a natural 20, doing 12 damage, making it get pissed off at me it so it charges into the chasm one space down and two spaces to the left.]

The skeleton turns and charges, enraged towards Francisca, who panics a little and hides behind briar, but the skeleton doesn't seem to notice the pit until it's too late, stumbling and falling in. [Taking 5 damage and falling prone]

Francisca grins and pumps her fist. "I've still got it~"

(Whoops I mixed up what Skeletons and Armors are but I missed anyway. I guess this will teach me to forget to force a 20 into my attack stat and to not take a +1 Attack Feat at Level 1, oh 4th Edition.)

Quote
Vivi's Eye Bite against Skeleton a.

Vivi settles for cursing under her breath to curse the #1 Armor this round.

She shifts three squares and finishes pouting for a moment to glare at Suit of Armor a. Quite naturally, her scorn takes flight with a pair of violet, violent neon bat wings as a pair of tiny little eye-sized Pac-Man figures. They crash into the suit of armor pointlessly and Vivi resumes pouting in Concealment.

[Apologies for the inactivity. I was bedridden for the past few days.]

Briar isn't used to fighting the undead. Her foes are usually corporeal/alive. She will step right and forward, mark armor #5, and make a Furious Assault on it.

[How do I use the dicelog?]

[Also, forgot to say earlier, but sorry to hear you were sick! :(]

Wait a minute, what am I doing. I meant Wicked Strike. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with the marking shenanegins. Bleh, still sick.

WICKED STRIKIN'
1d20 +5
17 + 5 = 22

Wicked Strike damage, not that it matters
1d12 +7
9 + 7 = 16

The suit of armour clatters apart like it was held together with wires.

[Which armor does? 5? You should remove it from the map so nobody thinks it's still around.]
