(That'll teach that demon to offer GENERIC power and glory to a spoiled kid!)

Vivi is actually startled beyond all belief by the sudden embiggening of the giant monster devil guy and flails her arms wildly, expending an action point and launching ALL THE ELDRITCH LASERS AND WITCH FIRE! It is truly a fireworks show to behold. In the midst of all this arm flailing and sudden, erratic calls to power, a wad of mint leaves slaps Armor 3 in the torso and curses him with minty freshness.

Dog, Fran, I'll say it costs a minor action each to pass someone an item. (You can think of it as a minor action to draw the weapon, a free action to drop it, and a minor action to pick up the weapon from an adjacent square.)

Francisca stands there, totally zoned out, staring up at the demon, scribbling in her notebook. "Oh my god, i'm going to sell so many copies of this book.."

She suddenly comes back to the real world. "Oh, yeah... gotta defeat the demon!" She tucks her notebook into a pocket and grabs the sword out of her belt, passing it over to Dog, then turns and points up towards the demon. "Die, monster, you don't belong in this world!", The reference is apparently lost on the demon.

[Vicious mockery, rolled a 1, totally ballsed it up]

The bolt curves off and hits more of whatever you call a that thing's midsection (4 + 7 = 11) just about as Ampersand himself finishes to darting behind the wall until he learns just how the thing's midsection reacts to being hit by a bolt.

Dog runs over to the wall and places the tied up dwarf on the ground where he's out of harms way. Well, except for the armor. But he hopes a moving target is better than a sleeping one. He readies himself for an attack. (Total Defense dealie)

The suits of armour hit Pitamaha with a barrage of axe blows. All three hit (five damage each), but the blows barely scratch the battlemind (damage reduction lowers it to 1 damage each).

Pitamaha takes a reduced 3 damage.

The demon strides forward and into the faint cloud of blood that surrounds the suits of armour like a swarm of gnats. It inhales deeply, as if the blood is fresh air to the creature.

The creature leans forward and emits a terrible roar that fills the room. Francisca and Briar bravely resist, but Dog and Pitamaha suddenly feel the ground shake beneath their feet and the three suits of armour somehow feels like an entire army. Dog and Pitamaha are gripped by fear.

Dog is dazed and slowed.
Pitamaha is dazed and slowed.

(Dazed: You can take only one action per round (one standard OR one move OR one minor action), cannot take immediate actions or opportunity actions, you can't flank, and you grant combat advantage so enemies get +2 to hit. You can still use free actions.)
(Slowed: Your speed is reduced to 2.)

As a minor action, the demon continues his illusory assault against Dog and Pitamaha. You suddenly find yourself on a battlefield, surrounded by blood demons and an army of skeletons. Dog is completely unfrightened by the scene, but something about it shocks Pitamaha to his very core. It feels suddenly real, like re-living a long-forgotten memory. (Critical hit!)

Pitamaha takes a reduced 10 psychic damage.
Pitamaha is immobilized.
Pitamaha takes -2 to attack until the end of his next turn.

(Immobilized: Cannot move any squares at all. Can still take regular actions.)

Dog: Now that Francisca's passed you the sword, here are the stats:
Sword of Catharsus: +1 attack and damage, +1d6 radiant and fire damage on a critical hit. Given the correct command (free action), the weapon bursts into flame and the damage type changes to radiant and fire. As a daily, when you hit, the weapon deals +1d6 radiant and fire damage, and the target takes ongoing 5 fire (save ends). (Note that this is 1d6 damage of the type "radiant and fire", not 1d6 of each.)

Note to everyone who can still move: When you move without teleporting to a square within 2 squares of the demon, it makes an immediate tail whip attack (+6 vs AC, currently only +4 for Vivi's penalty; 1d8+5 damage, stops your movement, and knocks you prone, giving you -2 to attack and granting combat advantage to enemies.) Remember to roll the tail whip attack against yourself if you trigger it.

PCs' turn. Expanding the map to include the previous room.

He could not see the armor next to him, but he remembered it, and fought against the illusion before him. [Iron Fist vs. armor 3: 1d20+3=20, Success! Armor 3 takes damage and is destroyed.] He felt the sword strike the enemy in the "empty" space beside him, and gave thanks to Amethyst.

Vivi teleports back three squares as the cursed suit dies, throws some mint at that mean old demon and then attempts to zap him. The zap goes wide. She moves another 3 back for the ol' conceal-a-roo.

Dog hunkers down and shakes his head trying to clear away the spots. He takes a few short, careful steps up to the armor and brings the sword down on his head [Action point (1d20+9=21)] and it promptly falls to the floor (15 dmg).
Dog blinks really hard but he's still a bit fuzzy. (Roll to save vs Daze: 3)
