(Sorry, meant to do this today from work but can't dicelog from phone)

Ampersand steps out from behind the more literal wall to the figurative one he had learned to start calling franci. Loading in another bolt he aims off the bard's shoulder, lining up a good shot between the two that seemed as if they were doing their best to get all their bits in the way. Fortunately for themselves however, they did not,(1d20 + 3 + 4 = 24) and the bolt successfully beheads the empty suit, letting the helm clang for a moment before the full weight of the armor follows.

Ovrak re-absorbs the blood from the two fallen armours. He is restored to full health.

His fear attack recharges. Ovrak roars.

Dog, Pitamaha and Ampersand are dazed and slowed until the end of Ovrak's next turn.

(Your speed is reduced to 2, you can only take one action, you cannot take immediate or opportunity actions, you cannot flank, and Ovrak has combat advantage against you which gives him +2 to hit. You can't save-ends this.)

Ampersand: The room around you seems to morph into a hellish landscape. You now see what Dog and Pitamaha see: It is a battlefield at night, and skeletal warriors charge toward you from the distance atop jet-black horses with red eyes and flaming hooves. Ovrak is here, cackling his reinforcements approach.

Briar and Francisca are unaffected, by the grace of Rothdar the Brave.

Now, as Ovrak is dazed:
1. He cannot take any other actions this round, and so cannot use his minor to deal any damage this round
2. He cannot take immediate actions, so he cannot use his tail attack against anyone moving toward him
3. You all have Combat Advantage against Ovrak, so +2 to attack

Vivi throws a wad of mint leaves at Ovrak's face. Then a wad of eldritch energy, which itself explodes into a swirling stream of void-drawn strawberries and flowers as the blast impacts perfectly so and the curse detonates with intense freshness. Then something something, THREE SQUARES AND CONCEALMENT.

Still dazed, Ampersand reloads and secures the crossbow. Gripping the sword with both hands and his back to the wall, he looks over for a moment to see the charging dwarven army, knowing not to bother attacking until reality is back to what it should be.

Francisca stands her ground, looking up at the hulking demon, "All your pitiful conjurations are gone now! It's just you and us!"

She jabs her finger out towards his face, blasting him with another vicious mockery. [9 damage, -2 to his attack until the end of my next turn again]

"Surrender now, revert to your previous form, and we may let you live to see trial, demon, it's your only way out of this!"

[Using diplomacy with words of friendship, Got 19]

Enemy's turn.

Ovrak is no longer dazed. His beady eyes peer across the battlefield at Francisca as she offers the chance to surrender. He opens his jaws and laughs loudly.

"Go to hell!"

Everyone in front of Ovrak - Francisca, Pitamaha, Briar and Ampersand - finds themself on the ancient battlefield in the thick of battle. Weapons clash and spells explode all around you as a unit of skeletal cavalry charges your position.

Francisca, Pitamaha, Briar and Ampersand are dazed and slowed until the end of Ovrak's next turn.

(Dazed and slowed: You grant combat advantage to enemies, you can only take one standard OR move OR minor action and no opportunity/immediate actions, you can only move 2, and you can't flank.)

Briar, a skeletal rider charges past and and strikes you with a saber made of black steel.

Briar takes 11 psychic damage.
Briar is immobilized and takes -2 to attacks, until the end of her next turn.

(Immobilized: You can't move. You can still attack.)

A second skeleton attacks Francisca, but misses.

Dog is no longer dazed or slowed.

Dog, the battlefield fades away and you see your allies duck and dodge as if fighting invisible enemies.

PCs' turn.

Francisca opens her eyes wide, "Wow.. this is amazing!", she leans down to get out her notebook, the skeleton's saber slashing right over the top of her head. She starts jotting down notes again, looking around in wonder. "I wonder what battle this is, or if it ever happened. Are you seeing the same thing, guys?" She calls out, not realising that the skeleton had even attacked her.

"Hast thou only this one illusion, demon?" Pitamaha asked. "Behold, it unraveleth beneath my blows!" [Iron Fist, it misses, but the damage resistance is still renewed.] "One whose lies are as feeble as thine cannot be the one whom I seek."

Dog promptly marches up to the demon and plans to give him whatfor. (Attack+Power Strike, 1d20+9=15, JUST made it)
Dog brings the Holy Blade down and with a grunt, gives it a little extra oomph. (23 dmg)

(Updating Dog's position on the map, but still the same turn - Francisca and Ampersand to go.)

Dog: Before you do that, Ovrak gets two trigger actions:

Upon becoming bloodied from Briar's attack, The image of the battlefield flickers for a moment. Ovrak turns his head and roars at Dog, pelting him with a psychic attack, but the brave undead hunter is unfazed.

As Dog approaches, Ovrak slashes with his tail (at -2 from Francisca's penalty and -2 from Briar's mark), but misses again. (Note: as Briar is dazed, she can't make an opportunity attack or help Dog to flank. Francisca's penalty is still in play until she takes her combat turn.)

Dog's attack hits normally. Francisca and Ampersand still to go.

Ampersand looks over to where Ovrak appears to be (seemingly miles away) and to the battlefield between them before finally at his feet that seem to weigh a ton each.

(roll for view of situation 1d20 = 9) Ampersand sighs and shrugs hopelessly.
