Pitamaha reeled from the blows and struck the suit of armor nearest him with the butt of his weapon [Iron Fist; 1d20+5 = 22, success]. The armor fell over backwards, inert, and the force of the blow filled the old man with new resolve. [Pitamaha resists all damage by 4 until the end of his next turn.] He then approached the two skeletons, muttering a mystic mantra. [Run to the space indicated, likely provoking attacks of opportunity, and use Battlemind's Demand augment 1, spending my last power point to mark both a and b, triggering whatever effect it is that triggers upon being marked. Oh boy, this is going to be fun.]

[So I don't forget: Pitamaha's HP 24, PP 0]

Ampersand wipes blood from his side and is happy to see it seemed to come from the sword, and not him.

Stepping back towards his crossbow, Ampersand reaches to grab it as he keeps moving to the back wall. Turning and lifting his arm, he fires and falls to the ground at the same time. The bolt whizzes past Fran and Dog, and clangs against the sword of the armor. Knocking it and the gauntlet gripping its hilt free blood pours from the opening and the suit falls into the small pool.

[14 + 2 + 4 = 20 for 2 damage]

"You guys got this. I've taken too many hits this fight." (consider Ampersand's next turn a second wind unless otherwise noted)

EDIT: whoops, forgot to map

Dog charges at the skeleton by Pitamaha (a) and swings his shovel at it's midsection.
(MISS!)
Unfortunately, the blade of the shovel passed right through the opening between two ribs and missed the skeleton completely.

The gravedigger, flabbergasted at his luck today, frowns harder than ever.

Pitamaha: Skeleton B makes an opportunity attack and claws you as you rush past. It hits! Your psionic defences protect you from the full damage.

Pitamaha takes a reduced 0 damage.

Trigger on mark: As you recite your psychic mantra, Skeleton A briefly glances at you, then turns back to claw at Dog. You realize to your horror that these mindless creatures can ignore your psychic compulsion.

Skeleton A ignores Pitamaha and claws at Dog, and hits. Skeleton B cautiously withdraws to fling a gravestone at Pitamaha, but it goes completely wide and smashes against the west wall instead.

Dog takes 6 damage.

The skeleton in the pit scrambles to its feet and you hear it scramble for a projectile. A skull wearing a helmet comes flying out of the pit at Dog. It strikes you in the back of the head!

Dog takes 6 more damage.

PCs' turn.

[If a and b were able to be marked, I could have damaged a for free this turn. Oh well.]

Pitamaha swung his scimitar ferociously, and though it went wide, his body once more become as one with the hardness of the steel. [Iron Fist versus a 1d20+5 = 8... miss, though I still get damage resistance until the end of my next turn.] Leaving the diminutive revenant to his allies, he approached the remaining enemy with care. [Shift to the indicated space]

[If either of them shifts, I may want to use Blurred Step to shift as a free action.]

Francisca runs to the outer edge of one of the pits, jumping over the scattered armour pieces and shards of bone, making sure to not slip and fall into the pit, she stands on the edge, and points and laughs at the nearest skeleton. [a]

"You.. er.. I'm going to! Um.. You stink! Yeah! Take that!"

Alright. Dog, standing squarely in front of the skeleton, looks it in the eye.
He takes the shovel firmly in his hand and swings it at it's head.
Putting a little extra spin on it because fuck that particular skeleton. (Power Strike)
The skeleton takes 14 damage.
Dog snorts.

Vivi's infectious pity party curses skeleton a with wispy swirly marks swarming about his head, indicating frustration and woe.

Vivi drops her own moping and bang-bang finger gun's at skeleton a, feeling a bit forlorn at this point. Everybody else looks so cool...

The resulting minty fresh shock of flavor crashes into his mean old skull and bleaches the ancient bones pearly white, emitting a distinctly chilling flavor to savor in the air as those old bones crack from the vicious impact. Vivi is naturally overly pleased with herself as she tip-toes another 3 squares to the side, around a pit. A few moments later, the Skeleton closes it's jaw and savors it's own flavor, suffering a vicious chilling backlash as the curse activates.

Skeleton A claws at Dog. He hits!

Dog takes 3 damage.

Skeleton B scrambles for a weapon and grabs a dwarven greataxe from the rubble, where it might have been buried with one of the skeletal dwarves or once held by a toppled statue. He swings it at Pitamaha, and hits!

Pitamaha takes a reduced 4 damage.

Briar curses. The passage is too narrow to get to Pitahama without getting mixed up in the melee with Dog. She skids along the lip of the pits, and engages the skeleton with him. [Combat Challenge!]

Quote
Knockdown Assault

8 + 7 = 15
[Automatic 4 damage on the skeleton plus knocking it prone.]

The remains of the skeleton smash against the floor of the chamber, giving up the ghost, as it were. Briar claps Dog on the shoulder. "Now's our chance. Go help the elder one. I'll catch up," she says breathlessly.

Dog nods and wipes the blood from his brow.
He takes a deep breath and calms himself, shifting his feet slightly. (Mobile Blade Stance)
He moves two squares then shifts putting himself diagonal of Pitahama and swings his shovel at the skeletons head.
Skeleton takes 13 damage
Dog slips his way past the skeleton, making room for others in this tight hall. (Two shifts due to stance)

Francisca runs around the edge, making sure to not fall into the bone-filled pit. As she reaches the edge, she spins around, jabbing her finger at the last skeleton. "Looks like your story is over, bonehead!"

Nothing happens, Francisca looks at her finger, "Wow, I really need to work on this stuff."
