I'm fine. I'm normal. I was just throwing my theory out there because we have nothing else to go on. I'm willing to even change my vote to at this point to anyone else if you'd like.

Friday: What happens if Childs doesn't use his self test before the day ends? Is it wasted?

Yeah, yeah, you'd like to come in now, you won't hurt anyone, you feel much better, we've heard this one before

Though I guess it looks like we have a chance now.

How do you figure?

We killed one Thing, great.  We also lost someone to a turn AND burned a dynamite-holder to death.

This game is really hard: if we kill one Thing every day, we lose.  They'll always gain one per night, and that person comes out of our numbers.  Killing our own guys doesn't help much.

It's getting close to the end of the day and Childs still hasn't used his test. Should we be worried?

I have no idea where we stand time-wise, but I'm testing MacReady if I still can.

Time was up 9 hours from my previous post, which was 10:13 yesterday by my clock. Since Child's test was declared after that point, it doesn't count.

No tests were administered at all in the previous day. Childs test and the group test is wasted.

Remember, you have hammertimes.

Night roles.

The night is quiet. A little too quiet.

The day dawns. A little too dawn.

10 players are alive. A little too alive.

MacReady
Dr. Blair
Childs
Nauls
Palmer
Dr. Copper
Norris
Clark
Fuchs
Windows

2 players are Mikey. A little too Mikey.

Bennings - Thing
Garry - Dynamite

Windows has the test today.

48 hour time limit starts now. All players still have their hammertimes.

The ten of you gather for the third time to discuss who should be tested.

Oh, we actually have to have a majority to use a vote-test? I thought we would automatically test the person with the most votes at the end of the time limit.

Also if I had been thinking I totally would have used my hammertime to give Childs more time to do his test.

But since he tried to use it on me instead of himself, I'm obviously going to want to test Childs today.

So it goes like this. Windows, you test Childs, Blair, or yourself. Then, depending on the result, one of the remaining two gets a face full of dynamite. I'm a homicidal paranoid with a fist full of high explosives this morning.

Windows: test yourself. Cooper: blow up Childs.

IF YOU GET THE BONUS TEST, YOU MUST TEST YOURSELF.

Windows until he tests himself.

Hey now, there's no need to go killing people who haven't been tested yet. You remember what happened with Garry, right?

I don't think we have enough time for Norse's theory to work. I like the idea - that eventually a random thing will get the test and refuse to test themselves, but we may be too late in the game. There's now 3 of them, right?

Fuck it. Windows until he tests himself. If he tests himself, consider my vote rescinded.

I think MacReady is actually still a pretty good choice.

I say that Windows should test Childs, personally.  The fact that he didn't use his test at all yesterday reeks of a Thing trying to run out the clock.

Amid your talks, Windows suddenly drops everything and charges over to Norris' blood sample.

"NO WAIT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" you all scream.

As you all begin to run toward him to prevent him from testing, the wire hits the blood.

And the blood shrieks.

Norris is a Thing.

HAMMERTIME

The flame throwers can pick you off in the morning, Norris. You look an awful lot like a sacrificial lamb to me anyways. So that brings me back to Childs, Blair, Windows and Mac.

Childs, you absolutely failed to test anyone and for no apparent good reason.

Blair, your the least likely to get the big red stick, because I don't have any real gut feeling on you. Consider yourself lucky... For now.

Windows, like I said, Norris looks like a sacrificial lamb to me.  No lead up, just bam, he's a thing. I don't like it.

MacReady, you were awfully quick to decry me blowing someone up. Maybe one of them is a gruesome monster. Maybe one of them is your gruesome monster friend. I want to see what your blood does under fire.
