I am also not Envy and/or Batman.

I think Bennings should test me, to prove that I am a Good Work Guy and also to force the Things to either turn me or be known forever as cowards

And then have a flamethrower kill you on the first night? How noble of you to sacrifice yourself for the people who won't even be on your team any more once you're turned.

My point is that you don't seem to be thinking through all the consequences of your plan.

Or is that part of your strategy? Making yourself look like a fool so they won't want to turn you.

Now that all players have checked in, I will allow tests to go through.

Keep in mind that if the player who has the extra test/wire (Bennings, in this case) doesn't use it before a majority vote is reached, the extra test is lost.

There is still no time limit for day 1. After this, there will be a 48 hour time limit per day, not including hammertimes.

Remember, you cannot throw Dynamite on day 1.

The worst thing that can happen, in my mind, is that I don't get turned but then nobody trusts me after I survive my first night as a proven innocent.

Other than that I don't see a problem.  I'll tell you what, first night I have the wire I'm gonna test myself right away.  Unless I'm a Thing, in which case I'll make some excuses and try to avoid it.  If that happens you should blow me.  up.

Well here's my list of people Bennings should test, in no particular order:

* Me

* Himself

* Anybody

Clearing himself might be his safest bet, I probably would if I were in possession, and not possessed.

In the mean time, we might benifit from verifying that Clark is human, or a dirty monster trying to hide the his scummy nature by asking to be tested.

I agree. If Clark is so eager to be tested, It doesn't necessarily need to be Bennings that does it.

Don't be so quick to vote for somebody when Bennings still has his bonus test. If we get a majority on a vote to test someone before he's used his extra, the extra test is lost. If he's not gonna come right out and test somebody, I think we need to test HIM.

I'm not quite as on top of all this fast-logic paranoia as the rest of you, but that sounds solid to me. Bennings needs to use the wire before anything else happens.

On the off chance that you might listen to me?  Very risky ploy.  I'll try it next Halloween :D

There's no reason not to let Bennings do it if we want to test Clark, though.  We'd be wasting the test.  Of course, maybe you're counting on that.

Oh, I definitely think Bennings needs to use his test, and sooner would be better than later. But just in case he chooses someone else, we're 2/7 of the way to testing Clark too.
