So I went to Riften to check out this orphanage, and what-do-you-know, the person running that shit is wicked as a candle in a city as crooked a thousand elbows.

Anyway, it looks like the thieve's guild is extra shady this time around. None of that honor among thieves bullshit that I so love.

AH. She's as Wick-ed as a candle is wicked.
In a city as crook-ed as a thousand elbows.

Classic, that's a terrible way to write any of that.

Basically she's an evil bitch and I killed her face off. Also the thieves guild just gets a bad rep by being... the fucking thieves guild. Once you start to interact with them you notice they ain't bad dudes!

after shortening my incomplete missions to missions that had bugged out or were too bothersome to complete, i finally finished the game.

After, i finally opened a wiki, and read a lot about in-game mechanics.

Want to start again when the expansion comes out, but... i thought for now ill just make my usual godlike character, to experience most of the content on the game easily.

So.. i decided the only modification i would make was to give her infinite perk points.

I have a question, tho, do you level up in an ability slower as your character becomes higher level, or it's just as the ability itself becomes higher level?

The speed at which an ability levels is based on the level of that ability. The speed at which you gain character levels is based both on the levels of increased abilities and on your current character level.

it's the ability rank that affects it, i'm pretty sure. rushing smithing still resulted in me making about a million leather bracers even when i hit 100 below level 30 :V

I do daggers (from higher to lower) and finish off with leather braces to increase smithing. I also find that improving them scales better as you level up smithing making it level up faster, while decreasing the money loss, so i divide resources for creating and improving.

Still.. i watched some guides where they told you not to level up your character when you are powerleveling an ability, so it keeps going up fast. (looked like  it was on xbox and prepatch, tho)

So is "And then I took an arrow in the knee" the new "The cake is a lie"?

The first time a guard gave me the "Let me guess, somebody took your sweetroll" line, I yelled his ass off a cliff.

Were those spawned in with the console or is there a dupe glitch like in Oblivion? (I know there's one for armor but that wouldn't apply to cabbages obviously)

It was consoled in, though I bet you could gather that many if you hoarded for long enough.
