Kayumi's thread is here. (Danger, there be gender confusion afoot.)
It should be considered the primary source for D&D hookups.

this first post is now nothing

I would like to sign up for Kazz's game.

I would like to play a Sorcerer I MEANT WARLOCK WIZARD Half-elf named Barsoon Camille (male, 26, Good).

Barsoon had a rough time of it as a kid. His parents died when he was six and the bandits responsible recruited him for his magic I mean cantrips, hoping that having their very own "wizard" would aid them in capers. He was forced to use his talents to scam and intimidate innocents, till one day he challenged the leader of the bandits for leadership.

His high charisma I mean intelligence had earned him many friends amongst the bandits and their support was enough to force the leader to accept. Barsoon had a secret weapon (magic missile, his first level 1 spell I mean at-will power) and won handily by keeping his distance and launching his new spell a few times. When the former leader asked what Barsoon wanted to do next he replied "Leave me in peace and never threaten me or anyone under my sanctuary, er, I mean protection, again." He left the bandits alone.

That was one week ago. Since then he's been traveling around performing cantrips in the street for money. The knowledge of how easy it might be to just rob someone is suppressed but always present...

If this character does not fit into your game's flavor let me know and I can remake him.

re: my game.

Your PC begins the game arrested and on trial, about to be condemned to the Mad King's dungeon.  So as long as you're writing backstories, come up with a crime.  (It doesn't have to be major for the Mad King to throw you away for good.)

My past reputation as a brigand finally caught up with me.

Ok I admit I wrote my back story based on watching someone else's character during my 4ed game. I think I meant Wizard.

Chargen now.

Yeah wizard actually works exactly like you want but doesn't prioritize charisma, it's probably what you're looking for.

I probably should have just said that before, I guess.

I actually would have no problem whatsoever putting my game then.

However, I'd prefer to run twice a week, and I also suspect you care more about the rules than I do, so... dunno how well we'd get on.

I haven't even seen the books yet, but I'm being hit by the creativity bug and might be looking into hosting a Saturday night game in the near future, assuming we are not completely over saturated with GMs.

Well, I don't think we're oversaturated just yet, and I really don't foresee everything going of without a hitch in terms of scheduling, among other things, but it might be better to maybe outline what you have in mind and then as the existing games fill up, also bearing in mind that Doom has stated intent but isn't on the roster, this is a run on sentence, if there's still demand or when one of the existing groups loses steam or whatever, then maybe offer to run.

I mean, it's still possible that Kazz and Doom's games will fill up quite quickly and we'll have more people wanting in, but I think we're reaching the point where it's better to have some in reserve than just blowing everything all in one massive extravaganza and then having it be difficult to find a group with slots to replace a game if someone has to drop out for scheduling conflict or whatever.

But then, I'm just the guy maintaining the roster thingy so whatever works.

:attn: Due to timezone issues, if you are posting your schedule (or posting anything to do with time) type out the time you see on your nearest clock IN your post so we can compare it to the "posted at blah blah on tuesday" section of your post to more easily determine your timezone. This will help when I read "2am on mondays" to determine WHAT 2am on Monday you're referring to.

Example: It is 9:59 pm at my house as of this post. If you look at the timestamp on this post, however, it will say the post date/time in YOUR LOCAL timezone.

It seems to think I'm three hours behind when I really am.

Awesome.  Much better.

But yeah, I was kind of meaning, don't automatically assume that your forum-time listing is correct when trying to determine that kind of thing.  Because it might not be.

I want to start sometime next week.

Setting: Zombiepocalypse. Anything else is a surprise.

No chargen details yet. I'm gonna read 4th E this week and see if I can even get the players interested.

Times..

Current times are A) Friday + My other revolving day off twice a week
B) Any night of the week at 10 PM Eastern twice a week
C) One of the above, once a week(this'd make an every friday guaranteed possible)

I live on the East Coast of the USA.
