DOUBLE POST: If you're interested, give me your schedule as feasibly as you can. That's why I have options: It's what I can do myself. I can show up every night after 9:30, even on our worst closers at work. I don't work Fridays and probably won't in the fall semester. I never work more than 5 days a week(hard hours limit at work).

Furthermore, I'd like to chime in that as eager as I am to learn 4e, if for some archaic reason all of my players wanted to linger in the past, I am still a Black Belt of 3e and 3.5e.

So far I have Frocto with once a week, any 10 pm, Norondor(interested), Psychick(interested but moving in 2-3 weeks), Kazz(interested), Constantine(researching 4e, interested), Moctobot(interested) and Friday(interested.) So let's see some definitive answers cropping up in the next few days.  :wat:

Adding all of those interested parties to the roster for now, will update it with confirmations and such as they come in.

Hashing out the details for mine in this thread, awaiting shipment of books so I can add crunch to the fluff, then I'll setup a roster here.  There will be four slots, and we will have to be able to have a chat before or during your character generation.

Preliminary estimated play day will be Friday night, possibly 6pm CST, alternate similar time for Saturday is negotiable.  Session to run for at least four hours.  Two absences without any prior notice makes you eligible for replacement, if someone wants to jump in.  This isn't to be mean or anything, I just want to keep the game moving.

More information when I have read the books.  Interested parties may contact me directly for more information until roster is opened.

Medium of play is yet undetermined, worst case scenario, the java program gametable.  I don't have a vent server, I don't have my own IRC dicebot.

<Doom> No chargen details yet. I'll release details when A) I finish reading 4e or B) I get enough confirmed players to prompt an immediate answer

Not yet.  This is a 'pending' notice, and an attempt to get feedback for the idea of my game.

When books are in hand, roster will be requested, thank you for the offer.

Just let me know.

Incidentally another thing that is nice about the roster and that I'd like to request that DMs keep us up to date about is if someone leaves for whatever reason and a slot opens up, interested players with compatible schedules can more easily locate a game to join than if there wasn't a master list.

I would be stupid not to join Kazz's game.  Save me a spot and I'll confirm when details come forth.

If you end up running a late night game Kazz I will be happy to participate.

Late night availability starts at about 2:15 am CST on monday, tuesday and wednesday mornings. I raid in wow the rest of the week, pretty much.

Doomgame Chargen is as follows:

1st level. Use Standard Array or Point Buy(Options 1 and 2 in the PHB.) No dice-rolling.

Anything is allowed, assuming that anyone who wants to be outlandish can be mature.

Also, since the setting is Zombiepocalypse, let me clear it up: I am encouraging necromancy. Will it be possible to control the sway of undead hordes? Yes! I'd appreciate it if in the case of Goodie Good and Necromancer being in the same party, they can both cap their dislike of each other to "mutual distrust."

In any case, it's probably best to drum up a base idea for your history/motivations and run it by me to be fine-tuned into the setting. Have fun!

Roster updates - Kazz is a definite for the Any-Night-After-10, R^2 seems to support this as well, I'm assuming Norondor is available for it, and Frocto has said he can do the Any-Night-After-10 once a week. Moctobot has said he can show up Sundays after 10, I guess.

That leaves us with.. Kazz, R^2, Norondor and Frocto at once a week, any weeknight at 10 PM East Coast.

Let's see some more confirmations. I'm quite serious  :wat: about being able to provide for 8 players.

I'd be willing to play a 4th ed game if there's a game going weekly twice weekly on any day after 11:30 PM CST (preferably not Fridays).  I understand that this is probably not a convenient time and am happy to sit out.

Because no Doom update is complete without tripping over my feet to add an edit..

10 PM once a week would be the "if all else fails" agreement. I don't work every night, I don't work night shift every night, and I get two days off a week. So if all my players want to communicate and arrange every week to start earlier or play more than once a week.. fuck yeah. As always, the more confirmed schedules and contacts I get, the better.

I'm probably ok with all those times, given that that means that the games are starting at 2am my time! Needless to say, an earlier time slot would be preferable. D:

I'm not 100% sure what i want to play in doom's game yet -- probably i will wait a little while so other people can eliminate some options for me by genning up characters themselves. The system works! :science:

Kazz, any idea what you're gonna do?

Good morning.

I can break it down like this. 10PM EST suits me perfectly, since I have to leave for work at 2:30AM EST and it makes work so much more bearable to have some dead orks under my belt when I arrive.

I can't do Thursday nights (for you guys) since that's my online game, and Friday nights (for you guys) would be doable but I'd have to leave half an hour earlier to go run my RL Megaman game. They're fighting Yellow Devil next week! There might be something else but I can't remember.

Oh, and if Kazz insists on playing twice a week then let's play twice a week. *tankhat*
