Sure, E3 eliminates the top row if there's no ping, but what if there IS a ping? We barely narrow the possibility space at all.

I find the argument for A3 compelling and agree with it, but note that the fact that people are so willing to vote for it suggests the possibility that certain elements wish to deter us from one of the other proposals.

Day 3

Special report from HQ, gentlemen!  We have determined that the ship entered the combat zone at square A:1.

However, we have also received a chilling report.  One of our trusted colleagues, Zaratustra, has been a dastardly sea monster in disguise this entire time!

After swimming through the bay at breakneck speed, he has finally intercepted the ship and is attempting to drag it to the sea floor, where he will consume it and gain the strength of a hundred wolfpires!  If this happens, he will become a God among mortals, annihilating the universe at will, I imagine!

You must shoot the ship on this Day!  If you do not, Zaratustra wins and all other players lose!



All hands accounted for.  It takes 8 votes to fire the cannon.

You have 36 hours, gentlemen.  Godspeed.

I heard a ping last night! The fact that I'm not dead today would normally lead me to believe that I'd been disrupted, but if we know they started from A1, even with Captain's Speed they couldn't get far enough from our shot to be out of echo range of yesterday's bullet. I am guessing I'm still alive so that they can try to disrupt me tonight.

Wolves, now would be a very good time to volunteer the position of the ship, I imagine.

Time to drop some info to narrow this down. The ship has moved 2 squares both last night and the night before.

I don't have any meaningful info to convey.
But since the game is over if the wolfpires don't let us hit the boat, why not just have them come out and tell us where it is?
Anyway, we can be pretty sure it ought to be in A:5 or C:5.

This game is won or lost today, so being sneaky doesn't really matter. I'm not a high-powered role anyway.

I'm a Bomber Dude. There are probably others. I'll sit on my bomb until we get better info. If Defen was a Radar Guy, then he would have been told the direction of the ship if they've been moving in a straight line, so we know it can't be A5.

Per the rules, it can't be C5 either ("The ship’s top speed is 2 squares per turn.  It is also a large and lumbering vessel that does not turn easily; if it attempts to turn 90 degrees or greater, it will only be able to move 1 square that turn.  (For instance, if the ship travels from A3 to A5 in one turn, it is considered to be travelling east at top speed.  It can move to B5 on the next turn, but not C5.  It can, however, make it southeast to C7, as that is a 45 degree turn relative to the ship’s previous direction.")

I'll vote B5 for now though it could be other places.

Also Jesus Christ sorry for quadraposting but Newbie I'd assumed that the wolfpires were waiting to get a bead on the Lieutenant so I don't think you being alive still is all that shocking. A disruption sounds a lot more likely if anything.
