During this multiplayer session I... tear down my entire castle.
Meanwhile, Zara builds a treehouse.
As soon as everything comes down, the Blood Moon rises. All my former tenants, being too dumb to seek shelter, are rent asunder by zombies.
I go to harvest some more blue bricks, but am interrupted. Apparently King Slime digs this place and hates for me to excavate it.

Aaaaaaaaand he's stuck.
pew pew pew pew pew oh fuck it
This time he dropped ninja pants.
I buy a ruler to help block placement in rebuilding my castle. Presumably it would be more useful not at night, when I could see.
Another Blood Moon. I hide in my well and let the dart traps take care of it.
Zara planted a garden on the top of my new apartments, but did it with mud and jungle grass -- enough to make the game consider this a jungle biome. Doom informs me that if the music changes, the monsters spawned will change, too -- resulting in Man-Eaters lunging through the walls and killing my NPCs again.
Sorry, Zara.
Anyway, it took hours and hours, and most of you in the multiplayer with me tonight have seen it already, but for those of you who haven't... behold!
The far east edge tapers to a point. The blue bricks are salvaged from the dungeon, since actually crafting all of this stuff would just be tedious.
Apartments all in a row.
My room is still the nicest, since I'm the one building all this crap. Silver brick walls, yo.
New conservatory, note the arch of the greenhouse dome and new natural grass floors. Blinkroots are ugly, so I just let natural flowers grow and lit them with candles and chain lamps.
Below is the library, because the dungeon has a lot of books in it.
My concert hall. Still too bare for my tastes. It's a shame this game doesn't have a "curtains" item.
I have no idea what to do with this room yet. I'm just using the manequins here as storage so I don't have to use so many chests.
Left to right: taproom, kitchen, dining hall. Below is a storage closet.
The new workshop area, with storage up above. These two things are the main reason I come back inside, so they're always near the entrance.
The left entranceway. There's probably something fancy I can do with it, but now it's not even lighted.
The right entranceway. Dropping down from here leads to the shaft with the previous mausoleum.
The well, with new Goblin Army/Blood Moon countermeasures in place. On top are the controls for the door -- since I've never seen monsters use switches, I wired active/inactive blocks to this switch. Flip it and the active blocks become inactive, allowing you to enter...
Then flip this wallswitch to shut the monster-proof door.
Gonna call it a night without building off this wing of the castle yet. There's a closet with a chest for unused home decor items above, and a closet for wiring and tinkering gear below.
There's a long shaft upwards to reach the skybridge.
And finally, a room I have plans for but not the materials.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:
