This actually seems like a good place to ask about this...

So now that this book is finished, I'm actually starting work on the next one, which is set in New York and is a campaign-length "dungeon" adventure.

To this end, I'd love to get in touch with two people.

1) Someone who lives, or has lived, in New York and will allow me to check my facts with them to make sure I get everything right.

2) Someone who has played campaign-length dungeon type adventures, such as The Temple Of Elemental Evil, and can give me tips on writing it as a book and making sure the party aren't overwhelmed and have access to adequate resources.

Please let me know if you can help!

I was also thinking it'd be kinda cool to do an interview about my rpg, but it might be too early for that?

I've been GMing for over 10 years and I can say this one thing is sure about designing your own dungeons/challenges:

Make it easier than you think they'll need. By a good amount. You never know when the players are going to do really weird, sub-optimal (read: stupid) stuff and have need of the extra healing potions or whatever. The fun of an adventure isn't "beating a hard thing" for most people. The adventure should be interesting and engaging. Difficulty isn't terribly important.

That being said, the "threat of death" should also be present. If the players feel like they can't lose, they'll lose interest pretty quick.

I think you're thinking of Tomb of Horrors.

Damn, is that your dog, Newbie? Thing looks terrifying.

Also yay, books! If anyone wants to leave a sincere review and not just cause I asked you to, you can do it at the DriveThruRPG website.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw it. Hairless cat.

Yours is the first hairless cat that didn't creep me out and I actually thought looked kind of cute.
It barely looks like an earth animal but somehow that helps it.
