First World Problems

My computer monitor is starting to grow dim and flicker in brightness. It... it's dying. God damn it. Just God damn it.

I have only one Dr. Pepper left, and I can't go out to get more because of the blizzard. I mean, I got a couple Kiwi-Watermelon sodas after this, I guess, but that stuff gives me hives and is kinda nasty to boot.

My house is a little too warm and stuffy but I can't go outside because it's snowing.

Everyone I know is fucking obsessed with tapas and I can't stand any of them.  Buncha overcooked hors d'ouvres.

I received too many computer games for Christmas. I'll never be able to play with all of these presents.

I went out to make a snowman today but all the snow was too powdery to be packed.

The dishwasher, clothes washer and clothes dryer, once they finish, all start beeping repeatedly and indefinitely until someone walks over there and turns it off manually.

Fucking needy appliances.

my rice cooker just plays a jaunty little tune when it is finished and then shuts up and also keeps my rice warm

leave it to a japanese appliance to be polite and unobtrusive

Maybe if you didn't refer to her as an appliance she wouldn't be so needy.

LibreOffice has developed the obnoxious habit of refusing to run every time I reboot my computer and requiring a reinstallation.

It's had long-running problems with being open when the computer shuts down; I'll try and remember to quit out of it beforehand next time and see if that helps.

These used socks I received in the mail are in terrible condition. Worn out with fuzzies everywhere, and the pink metallic threads are kinda scratchy. I should've only paid $10 instead of $17.

Going up to the old cave at the state park just reminded me that we can't enter it any more. I mean, it's for a good reason (it's to protect the bats, basically), but I miss it, since it was an important part of my childhood. (We used to take field trips up to it!)

For some reason I feel pretty cold in my home, even though nothing's wrong with the heating, so I had to put on a sweatshirt to keep warm but it's too big and now it's kind of hard to type stuff because the sleeves get in the way.

I really want a Gold Botkiller Flamethrower but I can't find anyone selling it for less than several keys.
