They brought out these neat new rice triscuits. Best new snack I've tried in a while. Which of course means that they have to vanish from every store as soon as I discover them and buy a box.

My new 20 button mouse makes my thumb feel slightly weird from the material used on the thumbpad and I keep accidentally clicking the shift button (which isn't set to do anything anyhow at the moment).

Ugggggggh apparently PSN has had enough fraudulent activity to get on my credit union's shit list.  Now my options are call to authorize for the next 24 hours, or lift all fraud checking entirely.  Fuckin' blah.

The screen on my phone broke. Put into pocket, it's fine. Take out of pocket, it's broken.

I'm really upset overall because it's a sort of straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back, where the wife and I can't go more than a month without something out of the goddamned blue wiping out any progress we've made in our general financial recovery, but I still can't bring myself to move "My luxury device demands a minor repair" into Shit Days even though it's indicative of a much bigger problem.

Can't figure out what is the appropriate thread to link a really quality tumblr.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Well, not really. The thing is that when you demand a refund from PSN, you have two options. First is to submit an official request which may or may not be granted, probably not unless you cite it was due to your child buying things without your permission and only if the software wasn't used or downloaded.
If that didn't work, you are instructed to file a fraud report with your bank with a reminder that this will ban your PSN account. If they want it unbanned, you have to go to your bank and reverse the chargeback.

Thanksgiving Potluck at work. Everyone brought more than was expected. Plus, I worked a longer shift, so I was present for the early AND late potlucks.

Hours later, I am still disgustingly sick from overeating all day.

I attended two shitty Nobel parties today.  Lukewarm hors d'oeuvres, didn't feel like drinking champagne, and the rooms were too crowded.

Working 14 and a half hours a day sounds like a pretty serious deal

I had to remove the lumbar pad from my two-hundred-pound office chair because instead of providing me proper back support it was providing me proper back PAIN.

DN, I don't have the luxury of working at a job with a static shift. Today I happen to be working a 14 and a half hour shift but that isn't usually the case. The perfect storm of one of my co-workers being out for cancer surgery, two of my subordinates quitting and my supervisor being at a mandatory industry conference has been achieved.

Making it very much a first world problem, but maybe not as FIRST WORLD as some of the other problems here. i.e. It could be counted as a shit day in your life if you were so inclined.

Incidentally, this coffee I've bought from the highest mountains is not roasted as dark as I have become accustomed to. Harrumph

If you have some time to kill, check my last 20 hours of tweets. Verizon saw me cursing their name and has spent their time since then outright fucking with me.

I will summarize when I have the time and also can stop just violently screaming obscenities into the air.

I went to Gamestop and the oblivious kid with a fauxhawk behind the counter couldn't seem to comprehend that I wanted a new, unopened copy of an old game -- Saint's Row The Third. "Well, they don't MAKE that game anymore. They only make the fourth one, now."

Condescending little shit.

I then went one block away to my nearest Best Buy and bought it there.

I was half tempted to be a petty sack of shit and go back to the Gamestop and wave it in front of his prick face.

I made a joke on tumblr on a picture that at the time only had 15,000 notes. It's been reblogged at current count 60,000 times now. And my comment is on most of those.

I've over doubled my followers and my phone won't stop vibrating. I've never regretted something more in my life.

I notice that, whenever that happens, the guy who made the comment  deletes the post that keeps getting reblogged. I assume this makes it so you stop getting notifications, while the note continues to roam the net, free of its Earthly bindings.

Try doing that (or turn off that thing in your phone that does the thing)

My constant need for instant praise and attention prevents me from stopping it.

If not for tumblr, who will tell me I'm both pretty and funny? I only ever hear those separately.
