The way I see it is: he was going to die. If he survived, that would provide us with information; if he died after saying something, that would also be useful.

Had some questions PMed to me, figured I might as well answer them here:

Q: If the greater werewolf "kills" the wolfsbaner, does the auction house still sell wolfsbane?
A: Nope! And as there won't be a dead Wolfsbaner, everyone will know you're now dealing with two G. Wolves.

Q: Does the scry reflector also apply to the PI's "scry"?
A: Yep. He'll learn who the P.I. is, but not who hired him.

OK, sorry about the delay. Tonight's items are:

Seer's Glasses
Money Tree
Dampening Field

(For information about these items and the AH in general, click here.)

Such an early Money Tree is very powerful. Don't underestimate the Dampening Field, either. These items will be replaced by new ones at the start of the day, so be sure to bid now!

Game unpaused. Send in your night actions now, if you haven't already. This night has no time limit, I'll update when I have everyone's actions. Bids I get after I tabulate will be disregarded.

Oops! Almost forgot. The P.I. is offering his/her services. If you wish to hire him/her, send me a PM with your offer in gold, and the target you want scried.

Bleck stands atop of loose dirt mound, his shovel making a steady shunk, shunk, shunk, as he digs into the earth.

A figure appears behind him.

"Knew you were coming," Bleck says, wiping the dirt and sweat from his brow. "Dug this because I knew."

The figure moves, quicker than lightning and just as deadly.

Bleck looks down at his own heart in the figure's hand, then falls silently backward into his own grave.

Bleck was the Gravedigger.

It takes 8 votes to lynch.

Day 2 begins now. 48 hours + hammertimes.

AH:

Wolfsbane for 4 gold.
P.I. is offering his services.

Teddy Bear
Klingon Sword
The Mechanical Thief

*****************************************

If you didn't get a reply about your AH bid, assume you lost and kept your gold. You earn +2 gold at the start of each day, so unless you were told otherwise, you should have 12 gold now.

Rule Change: The Vampire Hunter, when he whips a wolf, no longer alerts the wolf to this fact. (Forgot to make this change from last game, it led to the Vamp Hunter feeling like he had to side with the wolves and try to get turned or whatever too easily.)

I don't know what you people are talking about and I don't really care.

I'm going to run under the assumption that our oracle, who did have a night 0 scry, was voting for a wolf.  Lottel.

Sounds as reasonable as anything I can think of. We don't really have that much information. Lottel

The two of you realize that this strategy involves trusting Envy to use information intelligently, right?

It's the only possibly-valid source of information I have currently. It's "Maybe Envy's an idiot and we lynch an innocent" versus "Lynch someone at random and probably lynch an innocent anyways".

It also involves assuming that Envy successfully chose a bad-guy to scry.

Yeah, if he did pick a bad guy, he'd be more adamant in his accusation of Lottel when the voting was really against him. Kazz should know that.

Kazz. Envy is actually not the idiot a lot of wolfpires make him out to be. I'm suspicious of Kazz for being an idiot AND ALSO because he mentioned wolves without mentioning vampires. Trying to signal your teammates, Devil? Or are you obsessed with finding them, Olrox?
