Ha ha, delicious.  Really, committing voter fraud under the guise of preventing voter fraud would have been a brilliant Machiavellian coup by the Republicans if they could have pulled it off.  But this is just another notch in their failures to live up to the image of brilliant political schemers they want to convince everyone they are.  And this election has proven that they are without merit.

Sleaze tactics are not the same as intelligent political moves.  Going up against an intelligent, bold, cool candidate has riddled their entire plan with holes and shown America and the world what an effective leader is.  The real clincher came during the last debate when McCain tried to play the politics of smear and Obama pretty much just looked at him with this gaze of incredulity then told him how sad his campaign was acting.  It was a brilliant moment and I think is the level of discourse people deserve.

In fairness, it's a big part of how Bush got "elected" in 2000.

Yes.  Absolutely damning.  McCain kept trying to play the Ayers/ACORN card; Obama answered the smears with the facts and then got back to the real issues.  It's what Kerry tried to do but he missed the first step.

Mail in an absentee ballot and make sure not to reregister until after the election.

An absentee ballot.

They had a presentation on them at the GDC.

Hey, I want to vote in your election. I want to commit election fraud in the US. Can someone hook me up? Where do I start? This ACORN thing?

I mean, it seems pretty easy and foolproof, according to the Republicans. I'm sure one of you godless liberals can help me out.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I) If party A is holding primaries and you would like to vote in them, either 1) you must be affiliated with that party OR 2) you must not be affiliated with any party AND they must be open to votes from non-affiliated citizens.

II) Those unaffiliated with any party are called "independent voters."

III) There is a party named "The American Independent Party."

IV) Affiliating one's self with The American Independent Party counts as a party affiliation.

V) Therefore, one registered with The American Independent Party is no longer what is referred to in common-sense terminology as an "independent voter."

You can choose to change parties during any primary. But you must pick a party, so that you're given the correct ballot.

Basically, being apart of anything other than the Democratic & Republican parties is considered to be Independent.

Zed: http://www.rockthevote.com/

Hmm. I was hoping for something more shadowy. You know, a guarantee to wreck the democratic process, not just some website that'll fill out a form for me and tell me to mail it. Why would Pennsylvania's own John Amherst mail his registration documents with Canadian stamps?

And if that won't raise eyebrows, maybe the fact that he lives in the Philadelphia Stock Exchange building will.

Man, this is much harder than Fox news made it seem.

Here in Michigan you can vote in any primary regardless of what party you are a member of.

This unsurprisingly causes many people to vote for a candidate that they think will be easier for their party's candidate to beat.

Is that a state law?

Yes.

In Arizona, if you're registered with a major party you can only vote in that party's primary, but if you're not, you can vote in either major party's primary.

The fly in the ointment is that that only counts for state and local elections; in actual Presidential primaries you have to be registered with one of the major parties.  Basically someone fucked up in writing the law.

And in Virginia, you can vote in whichever primary you want, but only in one of them.

Primaries are state elections, so of course it's state law.

Alright so I've been tooling about on youtube, checking out Biden speeches here and there because I don't know much about the man. And I have a question. Is it okay to love this?

Because I do. I don't think I can help it.
