Animal Crossing: A New Leaf
« on: June 09, 2013, 09:56:45 AM »

Since the Handheld Headache Machine thread hadn't been bumped in exactly a year, I thought maybe I ought to just start a new topic.

Is anyone playing this admittedly pointless game? If so, please see the N3DS Friend Code Repository and let's trade fruit!

See, by that I meant "friend me and trade me fruit".

Fun fact: It appears that the Best Buy exclusive items (which, at the moment, means a Raccoon Wall Clock) can be had simply by connecting to any old wireless network so long as you call it "Bestbuy".

Change SSID to Bestbuy, connect with 3DS. The Nintendo Zone icon will pulsate blue, but don't choose it. Instead, fire up AC and choose to check for a present at the post office. Bam. Clock. Couldn't be easier.

Who needs peaches?

Or maybe a singular cherry?

Here's the best site I've found for general information.

I have every fruit except persimmons, though they're not all fully grown and bearing fruit yet, so you'll have to wait on special requests. Sometime next week I'll be able to hand them out if you'd like. My Nooks is upgrading soon, and Kick's is being built right now.

If anyone's Nook Home store ever contains a black tile roof, please let me know.

That said, does anyone know of a good way to keep track of fish/bugs/etc caught and the ones I still need? This is the only reason I'm tempted to buy the guide.

I've got Cherries, some apples and all island fruit sans Coconuts.  So I need oranges, peaches, pears, and persimmons.  Haven't gone to a single other person's town yet, nor have I had any visitors.  I should really do that.
