I have been having no trouble with Firefox 3. I do, however, think the navigation toolbar is ass-ugly, though.

Try it under Linux.  I just upgraded my GTK with the result that Firefox is now pug-fugly.

And no, I have not put in the time to find a decent theme, thank you for asking.

I really liked the look of Kempelton -- but it doesn't work on FF3.

Whitehart is just about the only good theme I've ever seen, and it does work on FF3!

A little minimalistic for my tastes, but thanks for the heads-up.

Full Flat might be promising.

Here's an odd one: Firefox seems to be dropping random people's avatars.  Like, completely; if I type in the URL of my avatar manually, it gives me an error saying the file can't be found.

It can see the rest of my site fine, and Konqueror can see my avatar fine.

Anyway, assume restarting it will fix it, but just a weird random bug.

EDIT: Nope, still can't see my avatar (or several other people's) in Firefox!  Weeeeeeird.

Happened to me on an XP box, but not on this Vista one.

Huh.  My Firefox 3 install had no problems with huge3.jpg.  Memory usage shot up, but not to the point of significant slowdown, and that went away after I closed the tab.  Was able to pan around or scale the image just fine.

Chrome seems to refuse to even entertain the notion of displaying it.

Chiming in with the "huge.jpg did not crash my browser" crowd. Of course I have 2Gb RAM, so maybe that helps.

Yeah, took a couple seconds to load, then no problems at all.  Could even scale all the pictures at once with ctrl-mousewheel, without issue.  AdBlock let me locate and disappear the static flash on the second link.

I'm not entirely sure what the code behind the glow tag exactly is, but I'm putting my money on "trying to take advantage of an IE rendering bug".  E.g., Firefox (and Opera and Chrome) render the tag correctly, IE renders it incorrectly although that's what the hoped-for effect is.

Make a new fork of the project and edit the source code!

On a lark, tonight I decided to check the w3schools stats.

Firefox overtakes Internet Explorer, 45.4% to 44.8%.

Still a far cry from the commercial market, but even Chrome has overtaken Safari in this arena.

Previous versions of Firefox (also Seamonkey and the original Mozilla, and I think maybe even the things that preceded those) had different text.

EDIT: I get the old Mozilla one though.

So I just switched to Firefox, from Chrome, from Opera.  It feels like a step backwards, but only because I'm not used to using a browser that has, like, more than 1% of the market.
