Yeah, no rocket cocks.  I lost that avatar ages ago.  I'll try to come up with something though I'm probably going to post once or twice and then get back to being busy.

It's one of my favourite tricks that I do, and I like my patter better than this guy's.  For one I talk slower and I make it a little more about the audience.  Though he does the slights way better than I do.

I now return you to my generally scheduled absence, but this did make me post finally.

Thats a great trick, but I could never get the patter down for it, though I could execute it pretty fluidly.

It's his double lift at the beginning that gets me.  I can't get my double lift to do that.  It's rather swanky.

Its certainly smooth. I can sort of do it like that while trying it, but I'm accidently revealing the under card more often then I'd like. Then again it'd been month since I've even touched a deck.

The hold helps, bowing the cards in toward your palm. You probably already know that, but who knows. A lot of people seem to do double lifts with packets the same way they do with decks, even though packets can be held in ways that make it hella easy.

For my next video,

The one video from Penn and Teller that made me want to get into magic.  I saw the prohibition on Blaine and Angel (Thank you) but no P&T.

Penn and Teller are amazing in how they make their tricks additionally entertaining by revealing the method, especially for some of their more esoteric tricks.

And the best part is that sometimes they go so fast you can't really keep up and you're like "Oh, they did that didn't they!"
