Dan Didio, tool or king of tools?

I always read his name as "Dan Dildo" if that's any indication.

Damn, Denny O'Neil looks old. I thought he was Bob Kane.

FYI, Kane passed away in '98.

Batman was powerless to stop it.

The Virals Return.

The best part? Riddler & Penguin easter eggs in the new Gotham Times.

...So Morrison's apparently staying onboard after Batman: RIP.  Good.

I'm behind the times with that, but it's news to me, anyway.

For April Fools, clowntravelagency.com (click envelope) ran an international scavenger hunt, but no new pictures or trailer were released as many film sites had projected. In a twisted action of happenstance, four spoiler filled photos were leaked out today, all the same.

Detective's been uneven lately, but #843 is a return to form.  Dini plays to his strengths: Penguin, Zatanna, and the Ventriloquist.  The continuity's as thick as it's gotten in his entire run, but on the plus side, he's starting to weave together some of the most interesting threads he's dangled.

Morrison's Batman is still the more interesting Bat-book at the moment, but there's no denying Dini's place as one of the all-time greatest Bat-scribes.  A fun read.

The Batman is dead. Long live The Batman.

That art rocks. I haven't really ever even watched a Batman show, but that art makes me want to

You serious?

Queue up Batman: The Animated Series.  It's the gold standard not just for Batman, but for superhero cartoons as a genre.

You know, I'm pretty sure Ollie has a moustache and beard and doesn't wear red boots anymore because he kept getting mistaken for someone who works in Santa's Workshop.

So they're using the design of Green Arrow that hasn't been around in forty years, and the version of Blue Beetle that's all of two years old.  That's ... interesting.

No, they're using the current incarnations of each character fit into the clearly New Frontier inspired art design. Ollie has old designs to fall back on, the new kid doesn't, but to keep contemporary with the comics, they have to use him. Which is fine, because he's awesome.

Pretty swell visuals, but Conroy's voice makes it for me.  Slightly different from DCAU version but still distinctly  :;-(:.

So, why is Fox news still allowed to exist? Is it just a money thing or what? I mean, their brand of completely uninvestigated reporting is really starting to piss me off because in cases where I haven't actually researched what they are reporting on myself it forces me to have to withold judment on the retardedness of their stories and I really hate having to do that.
