SOLD OUT.
Moving on,
LOL BATPARTY
It's understandable how one could find Gotham Knight unsatisfactory, as watching it alone does not provide for the contemplative reflection The Animatrix achieved, and segments at times lacked impact. Watching it with a load of dranken batfans, however, is highly ideal. There are just enough pauses in between the dialogue to blather on with each other, the background artwork is practically unparalleled, and enough variations on Batman are presented to match anyone's tastes.
"Working Through Pain" was a personal treasure. The character designs in this segment went beyond the comics, allowing eyes to express emotion and reactions when dialogue balloons would have had to crowd out a comic panel otherwise. Switching between the two narratives was poignant enough (learning from the school of Begins), the bloodshed was surprisingly welcome, and the acting was at it's finest (read: most bearable).
Any punks just torrenting the segments are screwing themselves out of the BTAS episodes, Bob Kane documentary, Wonder Woman first-look, and Timm commentary found on the disc. Punks.
